Signal systems development

The length of the railway network is about 10 thousand km. The authority is developing the signaling systems located on the network in parallel, at a total cost of (46.8) billion pounds.

Replacing the mechanical link system with an electronic control system (EIS) with the installation of the central control system (CTC) for the whole line.

Increase the safety factors for the running of trains on the line.

Increase the speed to 160 km / h

Increasing the number of trains on lines

• 24 towers have been completed and entered into service.

• The rest of the towers are underway to enter service according to the set time plan.
